Performance:
The wallpaper and borders are made of a latex-saturated
paper stock. Handling and performance features are similar
to those of a vinyl–coated paper. The product is strippable
with recommended pastes and wall preparation. We can
produce custom wallpaper and borders in any size.
Features:
Type II is a medium-duty wall covering. It weighs between
20 oz. per linear yard (based on a 54” width) and is
produced on Osnaburg (poly-cotton or polyester) or non-woven
fabric backing.
Reliability:
All materials are warranted.
Conformance:
The linear yard (based on a 54” width) is the most
widely specified width for wall coverings.
Durability:
Type II is considered the “work-horse” among vinyl
wall coverings and is typically specified for areas
where greater than normal traffic and surface abrasion
is evident or expected. It is ideal for offices, hospital
wards, public areas and rooms in hotels, lounges,
dining rooms, public corridors and classrooms.
Serviceability:
The easiest wallpaper to hang and clean is vinyl or
vinyl-coated paper. Vinyl is scrubbable, which means
you can clean it with a sponge and cleaning solution.
Vinyl is also the most durable.
Aesthetics:
After the wall covering is printed and coated, the
paper will have a lustre finish (between matte and
gloss).
